Hot Tub & Spa Maintenance
Most of the spas we service are attached to an in-ground pool. When that’s your setup, the spa is part of your weekly visit at no extra charge.
What We Do For Your Spa Each Visit
Your spa shares its plumbing, heater, and filtration with the pool, so the tech is already at the equipment that runs both.
The spa gets the same hands-on attention the pool does:
- Skim and brush the spa shell, same as the pool
- Check the jets and spillover for flow and blockages
- Inspect the heater, pump, and filter that serve both bodies of water
Why the Spa Needs Its Own Attention
A spa runs hot and gets used in short, heavy bursts: a few people at high temperature, then nothing for days. That’s hard on water chemistry, and it wears equipment faster than a pool does.
The most common thing we see is a spa quietly drifting while the pool stays dialed in.
Spa neglect is visible as:
- Scale on the heater
- Etched plaster in the spa shell
- Weak jets that have lost their push
We balance both bodies of water every visit and watch the heater for early warning signs, so we can flag a small problem before it becomes a repair bill.
Spa Maintenance Included in Weekly Service
We don’t line-item the spa separately. Your service quote is based on the whole system:
- Total pool size
- The equipment you’re running
- The condition your system is in
An attached spa is included in that number. Send a few photos of your pool, spa, and equipment through the contact page and we’ll come back with a real figure.
Common Questions
If you have a freestanding hot tub on your patio with no pool attached, please give us a call to see if we’re able to help.
No. For a pool with an attached spa, the spa is part of the same weekly visit and the same quote. Pricing is based on the overall system, not broken out by component.
The spa side of an attached pool stays on the same year-round schedule as the pool. Maintaining the pH, alkalinity, sanitation, and spa equipment matter even in the months you’re using it less.
